Book Bound Events Terms & Conditions
By purchasing, possessing, allocating, transferring, or using a ticket for any Book Bound Event, including but not limited to An Austen Affair and Court of Dreams, you and any members of your party agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Ticket Agreement
By purchasing, allocating, possessing, transferring, or using a ticket for a Book Bound Events, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not purchase tickets or attend the event.
2. Refunds, Transfers & Resale
All ticket sales are subject to the Book Bound Events Refund & Ticket Policy.
Tickets are generally non-refundable. Optional Refund Protection may be available at checkout through a third-party provider. Ticket transfer requests must be submitted to Book Bound Events no later than four (4) weeks prior to the event date and are subject to approval.

3. Event Changes & Amendments
Book Bound Events reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to event schedules, venues, programming, activities, vendors, speakers, performers, entertainment, and other event details as necessary. Any significant updates will be communicated through official Book Bound Events channels.
4. Ticket License & Use
A ticket is a revocable license to attend the event and remains the property of Book Bound Events.
Book Bound Events reserves the right to revoke admission, remove attendees, or cancel tickets without refund for violations of these Terms & Conditions, disruptive behavior, harassment, safety concerns, unlawful conduct, or any conduct that negatively impacts the event experience for other attendees.
Tickets may not be used for promotional, advertising, contest, sweepstakes, or commercial purposes without prior written consent from Book Bound Events.
5. Ticket Responsibility
Attendees are responsible for maintaining access to their tickets and event information. If you are unable to locate your ticket or confirmation information, please contact Book Bound Events as soon as possible prior to the event.
6. Authorized Ticket Sellers
Tickets may only be purchased through authorized Book Bound Events sales channels, including:
Ticket Tailor
Eventbrite
Book Bound Events is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers or third-party marketplaces that have not been approved by Book Bound Events.
7. Liability & Personal Property
Attendees assume all risks associated with attendance and participation in event activities.
Book Bound Events, its staff, volunteers, contractors, venues, sponsors, and partners shall not be liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property or for injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising from attendance at the event.
8. Age Requirements
All attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
Exceptions for guests aged 16–17 may be considered with prior written approval and parental consent. Please contact hello@bookboundevents.com for inquiries.
9. Identification
Attendees may be required to present a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of ticket ownership upon entry.
10. Photography & Videography
By attending a Book Bound Events event, you grant Book Bound Events and its authorized representatives permission to photograph, record, and capture your likeness, voice, image, and participation during the event.
These photographs and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, archival, social media, website, advertising, and future event purposes without compensation.
Guests may not use official event photography, videography, or distributed media for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent from Book Bound Events.
11. Prohibited Items & Conduct
The following are prohibited:
Illegal drugs or controlled substances
Weapons of any kind
Unauthorized alcohol
Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
Lewd, disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior
Any conduct deemed harmful to attendees, staff, volunteers, vendors, or the event experience
Violations may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
12. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
If Book Bound Events cancels an event, attendees will be notified directly and issued a refund in accordance with the Book Bound Events Refund & Ticket Policy.
Book Bound Events is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging costs, or other incidental expenses incurred by attendees.
13. Payment Disputes
If you have questions or concerns regarding your purchase, you agree to contact Book Bound Events first at hello@bookboundevents.com so that we may attempt to resolve the issue before a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated.
14. Dispute Resolution
Book Bound Events reserves the right to make reasonable decisions regarding event operations, ticketing, attendee conduct, and policy enforcement.
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith discussions before pursuing further legal remedies.
15. Promotional Use of Media
Guests may not use photographs, videos, recordings, logos, trademarks, event branding, or other Book Bound Events intellectual property for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent from Book Bound Events.
